I'm Kate, an experienced Individual & Couples Therapist specialized in working with adults who have experienced interpersonal trauma. Interpersonal trauma is unhealthy interaction between yourself and another person and it could occur at any time in your life, yet its impact is felt in the present. You may feel sad, anxious, lack a feeling of self-worth, scared of what’s coming next, struggling in your relationships. Interpersonal trauma often creates invisible shackles which result in a feeling of being stuck and powerless.

Interpersonal trauma includes a wide range of human experience - like having a critical parent, grandparent, or sibling, being neglected or abandoned in any relationship, emotional or physical abuse, divorce, bullying at school or in the workplace, estrangement, and even death.

Unhealthy interpersonal dynamics impact our current functioning guiding our thoughts, feelings, behavior, and interactions, sabotaging our best efforts, and robbing us from living our most fulfilling lives. I am passionate about and experienced with working alongside my clients. My goal is to empower you to create the life experience you desire.
